Stange 27.06.2011 ES
To know the will of God and to pray, speek and do accordingly
1.John.5.13-15: And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
If we pray according to His will he will hear us and we will have the requests which we asked Him for.
We can pray generally as Jesus teach us in THe Lord's prayer: Let your will be done at earth as it is in heaven and God listen to that prayer. But God even wants us to pray specific, but to pray out His will then we need to know it.
To know the will of God:
- You need to learn to know Him. Matthew 7.7 -And to know Him you need to take time together with Him.-If you love Jesus, you'll get the best saticfication when you find yourselves in the middle of His will.
- We can understand the will of the Lord. Ephesians 5.14-17.
- He will enlighten the eyes of our hearts. Ephesians 1.17-18.
- We can be able to prove what is the will of God.Romans 12.1-2.
- The prophetic word in the Bible and prophetic words spoken to us personally is like a lamp and we shall pay attention to them, the the day will dawn; the morningstar will arise in nour hearts. 2.Pet.1.19.
- We are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do the work He has prepared for us beforehand. Ephesians 2.10.- Then we need to have knowledge about this work!
God's will generally, we find in His word; the Bible: Logos.
God's will revealed specific for you; Rhema; you'll get through communication with God.
How can God reveal His will for You?
- Through vision. Several examples in Acts 10.
- Hearing His voice. Acts.9.3-4
- Through dreams. Joel.2.28-29( Norwegian bible: Joel 3.1)
- Through prophesy. Acts 21.11-14
- Through getting piece and joy.Phil.4.7, John.14.27, Acts.2.28, Psalm 16.11
- By changing our circumstances. We need to practically see His helping hand perform our circumstances.
- The Holy Spirit can give you exactly information. Acts 16.6,7 and 8
- Remember; in the middle of all God's written word; the Bible, is the most trustable: Psalm 119.89. The information we get needs to be according to this.
When we know His will, we need to pray, speek and act according to this knowledge; then His kingdom will be growing.
Isaia 44.26, Deuteronemy 6.6-9, Proverbs 18.21. Matthew 17.20 Both our prayers and our confessions are our rejoiner/response in our communication with God.
In Hebrew 3.1 we can read that He is the highpriest of our confessions. What we speek is extreemly important.
If we want to do the will of God, we need to know about it, pray about it and confess about it. Preparationtime is very much needed to see the godly results.
